Anthony Chabot Regional Park Nestled in a grove of Eucalyptus trees that I understand are very fragrant (I can't smell), this campground is on the top of a hill overlooking beautiful Lake Chabot. None of the full hookup sites have a view of the lake, but some of the tent sites do - and lots of them would accomodate an RV or trailer. The campground at Anthony Chabot is located in a eucalyptus grove on a hilltop that overlooks Lake Chabot, which is stocked with trout as well as a small contingent of big mouth bass. The campground is open year-round with 63 walk-in and tent campsites, and 12 campsites with full hookups suited for trailers or RVs. - Ohlone Wilderness Trail Permit for all persons over 12 years of age $2.00 when purchased in person at the Del Valle entrance Kiosk, Peralta Oaks main office, and at the Ohlone Visitor Center in Fremont. $4.00 when purchased online or via telephone registration at 888-327-2757, option 2.
- Dogs are allowed only during the day and a $2.00 permit fee is applicable. Please see park for restrictions regarding dogs.
